Taurus Inc Viral Transport medium is a specially formulated medium for collection, transport and long term
freeze storage of all RNA viruses. It is formulated to maintain the optimum viability and virulence of the viral
sample in medium.
Taurus Inc Viral Transport Medium is made of Hank’s Balanced Salt Solution, Fetal Bovine Serum and
contains a protective protein antibiotics to control microbial contamination and buffers to control the pH.
Phenol red is used as an indicator of pH. The Sterile Swabs on a plastic Shaft with a break point should be
used for collecting the throat and nasal samples.
